Kore Entertainment is a boutique music collective of DJs and event coordinators focusing on customizing your event experience through a unique selection of feel-good music.  Based in LA and serving all of Southern California, Kore specializes in chic to custom special events, unique weddings, retail store campaigns, art exhibits, and much more.  We believe that with the right care and craft of song selection, music heightens the mood of any party making an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

Who We Are

Kore was founded by internationally renowned and critically acclaimed DJ Amara.  With over 15 years of experience as a DJ, Amara has transitioned from a popular fixture in the LA and International club/festival scene to work as a private DJ for boutique weddings, book and retail launch parties, fashion shows, art gallery exhibits, and non-profit events. With her many years of industry experience, she has an unmatched ability to read a crowd and have everyone on their feet no matter what the setting is.  Amara has selected DJs who not only share this passion for music, but have the experience to rock a dance floor.

Our Experience

Our Kore DJs have shared the stage with and opened for top entertainers such as Iggy Azalea, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Luciana, Chaka Khan, Salt N Pepa, Pat Benatar, Crystal Waters, Lisa Lisa, Eve, India Arie, Natasha Bedingfield, Neon Hitch, Nina Sky, and Colbie Caillat.  In recent years, Kore has staged weddings of all sizes from large high-end hotels such as The Four Seasons and The London in West Hollywood to charming private locations such as Malibu’s Calamigos Ranch,  Carondelet House and Stern Grove in San Francisco.  We have provided a classy, sophisticated and lively ambiance for The Getty Museum, the Motivation Manifesto and Bulletproof Diet book launches, One Gun Ranch holiday parties and numerous non-profit benefit events.
